BINIVERSE EXPANDS TO CANADA; SELLS OUT 4 STOPS
Under the Northern Lights, BINI embraced another ‘herstory’.
The Nation’s Girl Group held their first international tour in style, selling out four blockbuster legs in the Canada leg of the BINIVERSE that started at the New Frontier Theatre in Cubao, Quezon City.
From their first major solo concert, BINI conquered Vancouver, Edmonton, Winnipeg and Oshawa for a show to remember in front of thousands of Filipinos and foreign fans.
Thousands of miles away from home, BINI brought the Philippines closer to the Canadian audience led by the proud and ecstatic Filipino crowd and put on a twist to the BINIverse show that is expanding to the rest of the world – slowly but surely.
Due to high demand, BINI had to move their final show from Toronto to a bigger venue in nearby Oshawa to accommodate more Blooms, whom they did not disappoint anew.
Far different from the BINIverse stops in Cubao for three days then the regionals in Baguio, Cebu and General Santos with solo performances from the octet of Aaih, Maloi, Colet, Gwen, Stacey, Mikha, Jhoanna and Sheena – BINI rocked Canada with sub-units this time around.
Maloi, Aiah and Sheena, dubbed as the “Malaiahshee” impressed with Sabrina Carpenter’s Please, Please, Please as “Mikhcey” of Mikha and Stacey” seneraded with SZA’s Snooze.
Then there’s the troika of Jhoanna, Gwen and Jholet of “Jhogwelet” in a soothing rendition of On The Wings of Love, originally sang by Jeffrey Osborne and popularized by Regine Velasquez in the Philippines.
As if the stars were written for them after the BINIverse, BINI experienced the Aurora Borealis in culmination of a historic international tour.
Unknowingly though, BINI wrote the stars themselves with God and the Nothern Lights as the witnesses in the realization of that destiny.
