BINI hailed as Female Group of the Year in 2025 Jupiter Music Awards
The Nation’s Girl Group for a reason.
BINI brought pride to the Philippines once more, winning the prestigious Female Group of the Year in the 2025 Jupiter Music Awards.
It’s the second award for BINI in the distinguished JMAs, organized by the Asian Television Awards as the largest entertainment awarding body in Asia Pacific for 30 years and counting.
BINI last year was also named as the Most Popular Dance Performer before zooming to an even bigger feat this time around, thanks to the dedication of its official fandom BLOOMS in a grueling voting.
The octet of Aiah, Colet, Maloi, Gwen, Stacey, Mikha, Jhoanna and Sheena triumphed over some of the world’s biggest girl groups like Le Sserafim, New Jeans, aespa, ITZY and Baby Monster.
BINI garnered almost 900, 000 from the preliminary round to the final voting last August 29, epitomizing its rising impact in the global music stage after numerous breakthroughs last year.
This marked another huge international award for BINI after becoming the first Filipino artist to win the the Best Asia Act last year in the MTV Europe Music Awards.
“To all our Blooms who took the time to vote for us…thank you from the bottom of our hearts! We share this win with you,” said BINI in a social media post.
BINI was also nominated in four other categories: Song of the Year for Cherry on Top, Album of the Year for BINIverse, Collaboration of the Year for “Cherry On Top” remix with Indonesian star Agnez Mo and Music Video of the Year for Cherry on Top again.
Aside from BINI, other Filipino artists in Belle Mariano, Maki, Angela Ken, Rain Celmar, Kai Montinola, Fyang Smith, JM Ibarra, Jarren, Nhiko Sabiano, Seth Fedelin and BGYO also received nominations in different categories in a relentless bid to fly the OPM flag high in the international scene.
